Another Brother Firefighter Helped

​When my wife was diagnosed with cancer, our world changed overnight. The fear, uncertainty, and emotional strain were overwhelming, and like many families in crisis, we quickly learned how heavy the financial burden can become. Medical bills, missed work, travel for treatment, and daily expenses added stress at a time when our only focus should have been her health and our family.

During that incredibly difficult period, the Benevolent Fund became a lifeline. The financial assistance provided immediate relief, allowing us to concentrate on what truly mattered — supporting my wife through her fight. Equally important was the emotional and mental support. Knowing that our firefighting family stood behind us gave us strength, hope, and reassurance when we needed it most.
